Tuesday Updates 3-9

I admit that after the end of Lunar Festival at 6am Sunday morning I took a WoW break. I had spreadsheets for all 27 of my toons and which Elders they had visited. It is possible I went a bit overboard. LOL

Roszdhu got the Elder title (which I mentioned last week so I will say no more).

Roszrig got lots of rep toward exalted with IF so he can get his ram (13412/21000). He has 50 coins of ancestry and did EK and Kalimdor Elders. He also did a fair amount of exploration. His jewelcrafting is up to 197 which has been another focus.

Roszmairta didn't manage to finish Elders except for Horde & Alliance. Guess it will reset for her next year. She has been working on leatherworking thanks to Ency's gifts of borean leather. (At 65 she isn't skinning in Northrend herself.) She is at 390 and can make heavy borean leather. She has made the entire lvl 70 Artic set of armor which I guess will sit in her bank. Unless someone needs it? Hollar if you need lvl 70ish leatherworking.

Roszinha got 10 coins of ancestry and Elders of the Alliance. The wind rider cub and gryphon hatchling gave her the Plenty of Pets achievement.

I go through phases. When leveling Ency, I didn't play Mel very much at all. When leveling Scea, I almost completely ignored Ency. I spent the last few weeks focusing on Aacr and largely neglecting all my other toons.

So with Aacr holding steady at 73, I have really focus on getting Ency geared as a tank. That meant lots and lots of badges. So the last few days have been pretty much Ency exclusive. She actually got to tank some Sunday Night with some of our new guildies. We found that Normals worked much better than Heroics but we are still all learning.

I almost took her back to Sholozar to work on unlocking the Oracle Dailies. She finished that yesterday, soloing A Hero's Burden. It was actually harder than I expected but still went well.

Mel bought the Frost Badge Belt so he is wrapping up most of his gear needs for a while.

I healed Nexus on Aacr yesterday. Later, I logged into Lyvlem and got Nexus again. It is interesting to see the differences between the Alliance and Horde versions.

I hear you about phases. I really intent on particular toons. (Or sometimes classes of toons.) And I play those and neglect the rest of them.

Roszmairta needs to do a lot of Terrokar forest quests to get Lower City rep (for dungeon keys) and also things to get Cenarian rep (ditto). So if Aacr is already up at 73 in NR I think we're in different worlds. I would like to run Escape from Durnholme though.

Bah, tuesday updates. The system won't let me into Aerie Peak at all. Maybe I'll see you later in the week.

At 65, all upper-level Vanilla dungeons are still available. I tried healing Scholomance at 65 but the group had an inexperienced DK tank who couldn't handle the parts that couldn't be AOEd down.

At 66 through 73, most BC Dungeons are available. I don't know when but Ramparts at least falls off the list.

At 74 and 75, some of the lower ones drop off but dungeons like Magister's Terrace and other heroic and normal BC dungeons are still available.

At 76 through 79, only normal LK dungeons are available.

At 80, all LK Normal Dungeons are available and (depending on gear) all Heroics.

And yes, AP was pretty much useless last night. I ran one dungeon thinking maybe instances were okay - but AN was terribly laggy, too. And everyone in the party said their own servers had the same issues.

I tried Earthen Ring and despite all the complaints, it actually played fine. Adversaria got to run Ramps again and is almost 60.

I switched realms again and Jubei'thos was fine. Lyvlem pugged UK with a troll shaman who seemed to be only focused on tank healing. I died twice (once on trash and once on the final boss - it took two tries because of a wipe the first time). Oddly enough, the entire group except me wiped during the Skarvald/Dalronn fight so I got to finish it solo. and felt kind of vindicated.

Yeah, Wyrmrest Accord was okay so I did the venomhide daily (day 15!) on Kerirosz. But mostly I just watched Olympics on Tivo... we're almost done watching them all. LOL
