Holy Priest questions

So, I'm 77 and slowly making my way towards 80. Some comments/questions after our first PUGs...

-I run out of mana in giant boss fights, with ShadowFiend and usually with potions as well. I need some way to figure out how to mitigate this problem. Any suggestions there...?

-I'm not sure what to glyph, exactly. I had the Inner Fire glyph, but if I'm targeted I'm usually dead anyway. I replaced it with the Power Word: Shield glyph (20% of damage absorption healed). (My other Major Glyph is the Prayer of Healing one). I'm not sure if any other options are better.

-I do end up using Power Word: Shield more than I thought I might. I have it constantly up on the tank. Is that an issue?

-I'm considering dropping Lightwell. Does anyone ever use it?

I'll leave the Priestly questions to Scea and other guild priests. I have seen Lightwell dropped and I have used one once as dps. I think it is mostly useful if there is a warlock in the party so they can lifetap and you don't have to heal them. But I see it used very rarely.

Unfortunately, Scea is my hybrid that I never heal on. I would like to change that, though. With her, my usual sequences includes endless mana potion, shadowfiend, and the ability that only shadow priests have, dispersion.

I do have her setup with a 57/14/0 disc spec that I chose from wowpopular.com. That is always a good place to see what people like with a caveat: it is very raid focused. Some things that make sense for a raider in lvl264 gear might not work as well for a new level80 just starting heroics. But it still doesn't hurt to look.

As for Glyphs, I notice you aren't use Glyph of Flash Heal. It might be something to consider if that is part of your rotation. I tend to spam Flash of Light a lot as a Holy Paladin even though many Paladins frown on that these days, I like saving Holy Light for when I really need it.

I really think what we need is to do more guild runs either with 5 or or at least tank/healer combos. If a dps pugger doesn't like that the tank doesn't have 60K health or the healer has to drink occasionally, they usually won't complain too much. At this point, Melvyl never has mana issues unless something is seriously wrong.

With access to two alchemists (Sceadua and Gwynhefar) and lots of 350+ cooks, I will see what I can come up with.
